SALGA & VNG meet to discuss local bilateral government programme
In January 2012, Netherlands Ambassador Andre Haspels met with the new Chairperson of South Africa’s Local Government Association (SALGA), Mayor of Mangaung, Mr. Manyoni, CEO Mr. George and other SALGA officials. SALGA’s Dutch counterpart the ‘Vereniging van Nederlandse Gemeenten’ (VNG) was also present during the meeting to discuss its new local bilateral government programme in South Africa.
